30 Cyclists, 4 Days, 3 Sites, 5,500km, 1 Country, 1 Goal .
This October, 30 participants from around the globe are coming together in the Eastern Cape in South Africa to embark on an epic challenge - Cycle2Zero. They are raising vital funds and awareness to help families affected by HIV in sub-Saharan Africa.
Each day almost 200 children are infected with HIV in the region. Without treatment, approximately one third of these children will die by their first birthday, and half will die by the age of two. The transmission of HIV from a mother to her baby is almost entirely preventable. The babies that have been born negative through the 1.5 million women mothers2mothers has reached is proof of this.
Our dream is of a world where no mother dies of AIDS and no baby is born with HIV. In its third year running, Cycle2Zero is helping to make this dream a reality. We will be cycling for four days across the Eastern Cape in South Africa to raise crucial funds for life-saving education, services and medical care.
Reaching our goal of eliminating paediatric HIV is a team effort and the 2018 Cycle2Zero team need your support. Please donate now to create health and hope for thousands more women, families and communities.
