The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileA team of 8 from the Deeside Bike Collective; Kev Harper, Simon van Lieshout, Chris Mutch, Jamie Ritchie, Mandy Prowse, Gill Whitfield and 2 youth members Skye Clarke and Sophie Ledger will attempt to mountain bike 62 laps collectively of the Chutney trail in Balfour Forest, to ascend a total of 8,848m - the equivalent of Mount Everest! We are doing this challenge to raise funds in support of the Banchory Woodland Trails project, which will create purpose built trails for mountain biking in the Deeside community. We are passionate about making mountain biking more accessible to families and young people and promoting health and mental wellbeing in our community. Big thanks to Birse Community Trust for permission to use their land for the challenge.
