Story
For people facing homelessness and poverty, winter takes on an entirely different meaning. It is a cold, bleak and lonely time and can be difficult to find hope through the long dark nights.
Homelessness is on the rise nationally and in Dacorum. To meet this growing need, we are increasing our Cold Weather provision from now until the end of March and extending our Day Centre opening hours and our Crash Pad facility at The Elms, our 44-bed Hostel will also be running during this time we turn our meeting rooms into emergency bed areas to ensure that no rough sleeper is turned away.
Donate now to make a difference to those facing homelessness over the festive period and cold winter months ahead.
£10 could pay for a homeless person and their dog to enjoy a Christmas lunch together
£20 could pay for 14 hot lunches at our Day Centre so that no rough sleeper goes hungry
£30 could pay for a homeless person to sleep at our emergency crash pad facility
