The band have had a great 2022 and are looking forward to 2023! We gained a super 2nd place at the Scottish Championships resulting in a trip to the National Finals and promotion to the Championship section for this year. Alongside the contesting, the band has been able to get back into the community after the Covid lockdown, playing in a number of concerts and galas.

We have also been concentrating on renovations in our band hall with a newly refurbished rehearsal space for our senior and training bands. We have taken the opportunity to decrease our carbon emissions by around 70% by modernising the lighting in the building.

Excitingly, the band has recently been featured on BBC's Repair shop, with the renovation of a long lost bass drum - this was found during the bands move in 2021, and was in a very sorry state. We were delighted that The Repair Shop took on the daunting task of refurbishing the drum, and I'm sure you'll agree that they have done a super job!

The band however are in need of a new set of uniforms. The current uniforms although smart, are nearing the end of their useful life and we are looking to replace these this year. Please help us get some nice new uniforms for this year!
