Story

Long standing Cobalt supporter Dave Burley will repeat the 52 mile run he did back in 1984 but on two wheels this time on Saturday 10 October.

Malvern man Dave is a well- known barber in the town, having run a shop that has been in his family since the 1920s.

Although still a keen long distance runner, aged 73, Dave will attempt the route by bike this year starting out at Malvern College and travelling through Upton-on-Severn, Ashton-Under-Hill and Pershore, returning to his home in Malvern.

Dave is famous for wearing his Tam o' Shanter, a traditional Scottish bonnet. Please support Dave in his adventure and help Cobalt support local people suffering with cancer and dementia and other conditions. You can read more about the work they do and get involved here.
