David Martin sadly passed away on Monday 2 March 2020.

David was passionate about working with glass. He never stopped experimenting with glassmaking and exploring the possibilities of glass. David loved displaying his remarkable glassmaking skills to visitors at National Glass Centre. He was keen to pass on his skills and generously shared his knowledge and experience with students, volunteers and other glassmakers.

David will be hugely missed as a friend and colleague by the team at National Glass Centre. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.

David's family have asked that instead of flowers they would like any donations to be made to National Glass Centre.
