Story

Dear friends and supporters -

Today ECA needs your support more than ever! Like many arts organizations, ECA suffered significant revenue losses from canceled performances due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Proceeds from the Lights Up! Fund will provide critical support for our organization during these uncertain times as we prepare for the safe reopening of our theatre. Each gift - no matter how small - will get us closer to our goal of $50,000 and help bring the lights back up on all of the incredible events and performances we are all eager to experience again.

If you are moved by what ECA brings to this community and in a position to help us get through these challenging months, please consider investing in ECA's bright future by supporting the Lights Up! Fund with a contribution of any size that is meaningful to you.

One of the exciting new programs we were able to launch with support from this Fund, is our innovative "Window to the Arts" series that brings free live performances by talented local musicians outside senior care communities, providing joy, comfort, and connection to our elderly neighbors who continue to live isolated under quarantine.

We will get through this and come back more resilient, and ECA will continue to bring joy and unity to our community through the transformative power of live music, dance, and theater.

We would like to express our gratitude to longtime ECA friend and supporter, Susan Dunn, for her generous investment in the Lights Up! Fund, as well as to Laura Ellis, Mary Kay Sneeringer & David Brewster, and Pat Moriarty & David Schaefer, for their generous contributions.

With gratitude,

The Edmonds Center for the Arts Team

"When things get out of balance, the arts come in and bring the human side back. Without that, our societies would be prisons. They wouldn't be able to renew themselves." ~Philip Glass, Composer
