Story

We have trained volunteers who are able and experienced in how to use heart defibrillators in a medical emergency. However our current defibrillator model is about to become beyond serviceable use. We also need some additional life support and medical items.

We desperately and urgently need to get a new defibrillator to use in our local communities in the UK.

Defibrillators save lives everyday across the UK. Yearly, 30,000 people suffer from a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and they can affect anyone from children to adults, male to female and across all ethnicities. As SCAs occur completely out of the blue and often without any prior warning, victims can fall ill across a range of environments from school to work, at the shops or whilst playing sports.[1]

30,000: Out of Hospital deaths from Sudden Cardiac Arrests each year in the UK.

80%: Of Cardiac Arrests occur outside of a hospital environment.

50%: Percent increase in surviving a Sudden Cardiac Arrest with an AED and CPR.

270: Children die every year of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest at School in the UK.

Like many charities COVID19 affected our operations, fundraising and activities. We need and AED, BLS (Basic Life Support) Equipment and additional medical and first aid supplies. Your kind and generous donation will really help.

Please help us to help others and donate to our needed campaign. Thank you for your kind and generous support.
