Story

Can you scoot? Or hop? Or run? Or climb the stairs? Or sing? Or make your bed? Then we need you.

The Friends of John Clifford are calling all JC Superheroes to help us in our Giant JC Superhero Challenge. Our super important mission is to raise as much money as we can to restore the outdoor learning area and to provide new books and games for the classrooms damaged by the flooding.

What's more for every fundraising target that we hit a member of staff will go under an ice bucket and record it for us. Mr Gooch is first up when we hit £250... Mrs Waring needs a bit more persuading so we need to raise lots more!

Like many residents and businesses in Beeston, John Clifford School fell victim to the heavy rain on 17th June. The damage was extensive. We know that many of you are keen to help and so we would love to encourage all the JC family to pick a challenge and get sponsored for it.

Your challenge could be:

Climbing the stairs multiple times- climb a mountain in your own home!

A scoot-a- thon

A roller skate-a-thon

A mini marathon run or walk

A trampolining challenge

A skip-a-thon

Making your own lunch for a week

Making your bed for a week

Hundreds of laps of your garden

Giving up your Nintendo Switch for a week (ok maybe just a day)

You can choose any challenge you fancy, or you can make your own up.

We'd love it if you could wear something a superhero might wear (a cape, a mask etc) when you do your challenge and perhaps you could take a photo and upload it to your class home learning blog.
