This term we are raising money for our society through our Online Winter Showcase, On The Right Track.

Our theme for this showcase is saying goodbye to what we know and accepting new ways of living and performing. Letting go of feelings or situations that are keeping you behind and stepping into the hopeful bright future. We are sure that many people, particularly in 2020, have been through trying times and our aim is to produce a show that provides excitement and show that the journey we are on is on the right track.

The show includes songs from Hamilton, Beetlejuice, Newsies and many more all focusing on goodbyes and new beginnings.

We would usually have set ticket prices and fundraisers in person for our shows and use these to fund what we need for the society. However, with this year moving to a virtual environment we will be asking for donations through Just Giving towards GMTG!

Any donations would be helpful to the society and go a long way, as we are currently raising money for new musical instruments in our band to use and to help with learning musical material! We are also looking towards future GMTG shows, with the hope of eventually being able to run a main show, so we appreciate anything that can help.

The money raised will enter the Birmingham Guild of Students Bank account to be deposited into the GMTG group account.
