Recycling Bins for the Community Cafe and Garden

Organised by Red2Green

Red2green has been recycling crisp packets, baby food pouches and flexible cleaning packaging through Terracycle. We now want to buy recycling bins to store this in, and so that the local community can drop off their recycling when we aren't open.

Red2Green provides personalised learning, leisure and work opportunities for people with autism and learning disabilities in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas so they can reach their own goals and enjoy their life.

Story

At Red2Green we teach our learners to look after the environment. Our cafe has reduced food miles by using local producers and we have been recycling through the Terracycle scheme. It's a great way to help our local community recycle and we would like to make it easier for recycling to be dropped off at any time, and easier for us to store. The solution would be some wheelie bins or other bins in a store, but these things cost money. Therefore we are turning to our local community, asking you to support us and help us purchase some bins.
