We have a new building at HART to help increase our capacity during busy periods. This space will be for stable patients, who need a quieter area outside of the main hospital. It will also be an additional space for hedgehogs during peak times. We need to purchase flooring, electrics, custom shelving units and additional cages to house small mammals and birds here. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our charity shop and main source of income has been shut off for most of the year, as a consequence to this we are relying on donations from you, our supporters to help us at this difficult time. We admit more patients every single month than in the same months in previous years and are in constant need of expansion. HART is looking for a new site to rebuild a larger hospital but for now we need to focus on expanding where we can here to ensure we can offer places to the many 1000s of wildlife casualties in need of treatment across Hampshire every year.
