Asian Foundation for Help (AFH) is a UK Registered Charity that has been operating since 1983. AFH works with a mission to act as a bridge between those who can help and those who need help. Various causes in the UK and abroad have been supported through fundraising activities in the UK.
At AFH we have been working tireless to promote the Education and Women Empowerment, thereby creating self-sufficiency to beneficiaries in their daily life.
One such project that AFH is involved in is The College of Nursing in Porbandar, India. Established in 2017, the college has a mission to prepare nurses who are competent and compassionate, inclined to serve society.
The college is supported by a Board of Trustees that has over 40 years in providing high quality education. Phase 1 of this project has been completed, resulting in 390 students being trained for ANM and GNM Diploma and BSC Degrees. The first group of Nurses are already serving the community.
AFH in Association with Lions Club of Kingsbury and Pranasha aim to raise £ 50,000 for the final phase of this project. For this, a recital of 51 Hanuman Chalisa has been arranged on Saturday, 30th April from 11.00am at Dhamecha Lohana Centre, Bremer Road, HA2 8AX
All are requested to attend these prayers and donate generously for this wonderful cause. Your support shall lead to better patient care leading, to better diagnosis and treatment.
