Hope in High Heels 2022
Organised by Halton Women's PlaceWALK WEEK: September 18th - 24th - Participate virtually by walking in your community! WALK DAY: September 24th @ Burlington City Hall at 11am (Registration starts at 10am).
Story
Originally created as an avenue for men and boys to show their support for women facing domestic violence by wearing hot pink heels, the walk has continued to evolve.
As we've worked to make Hope in High Heels more inclusive, this event has grown to include EVERYONE, of all ages and ability levels. All participants, from across Halton, have a shared passion to end violence against women.
The past two years have seen Hope in High Heels running as a virtual event, and we've loved seeing everyone sharing photos of their walks with friends and family, and wearing lots of pink to draw attention to the event and the cause!
For 2022, Hope in High Heels will be a hybrid event, with a virtual Walk Week from September 18th-24th, and an IN PERSON Walk Day held on September 24th. This year's Hope in High Heels Walk Day will take place in Burlington, and we will rotate to different sites across Halton Region each year going forward. We can't wait to see you!
