Story

HOPE and our trainees have been busy this past year, as well as the usual growing activities there has been lots of behinds the scenes work to bring improvements like our new tea shed and permanent toilets (by the end of 2023)! These improvements supporting us to develop the garden and build links with the wider community, trainees, staff and volunteers. Even a small donation makes a big difference!

HOPE is almost 30 years old! After a challenging few years due to Covid lockdowns and post-pandemic anxieties, HOPE is coming back stronger and so appreciative of the support that exists in our community!

Our recent addition of new tea shed and upcoming toilet block improve our site accessibility for trainees and volunteers, creating more opportunities to use the space for social as well as training opportunities.

We are asking for donations to help us to continue providing opportunities for adults with learning disabilities - we are especially focusing on our wellbeing impact as well as our training and development opportunities. As well as ongoing site repair and renewal, money raised ensures we can provide each trainee with boots and gloves so they can be safe while working in the garden and ensure there is a cuppy waiting for a job well done!
