Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We did it!! More than 40 young people, carers & staff from Tact Fostering completed the Pen y Fan (886m) hikes in typical August weather for Wales (horrible!!) and all returned with smiles on their faces! And it was brilliant to see the young people encouraging each other to keep on going even when they were struggling themselves. The weather was so bad at the summit for the first hike that we werent able to get a group photo but we did get half a group photo on the second hike, as you can see.
Please help us to reach our £2,000 target by donating and/or sharing the link - were so nearly there! And many thanks again from everyone at Tact Cymru Fostering. If you would like to help us with planting the trees this autumn then please get in touch or visit the Stump Up For Trees website.
The staff & carers at Tact Cymru are continually amazed by the achievements of our young people and we're extremely proud that they took on this challenge to help offset the carbon footprint of our organisation by raising money for a local charity, Stump Up For Trees, who are aiming to plant one million trees in the beautiful Brecon Beacons region. So we ask you to continue togive what you can to help us do our little bit to help protect our environment and plant as many planet-saving trees as we can!!!
