Story

Help for Quadstar

Quadstar helps disadvantaged young people to achieve their full potential by providing funded places at boarding schools and assistance with University costs. We focus on supporting pupils & students from deprived areas of the UK who have challenging domestic circumstances but have shown determination, resilience and talent to progress. We offer these deserving young people a transformational opportunity to study and flourish in a safe and supportive educational environment.

Quadstar offers more to its students than just their institutional fees. We provide pastoral support and mentoring to ensure that the students are fully supported and able to make the most of the opportunity.

To date we have funded four individuals: a veterinary student; an international relations student; a 6th former who went on to win a scholarship to Connecticut; and a 6th former who has recently been offered a place to read Engineering at Cambridge University.

We have secured funding for two more school places for 2021/23. Coby, from North Liverpool, will be attending Atlantic College in Wales and Anishia, from Newham, will be attending Kingswood School in Bath, and a further second degree vet student.

Quadstar has secured amazing double matched funding for their campaign to support more students and give them a life changing opportunity to fulfil their dreams. Nick Butcher, the founder of Quadstar, has pledged to match fund all monies raised in this campaign up to £250,000 of his contribution. Those funds are also then match funded again with the schools we work with. So, for every £1 donated we will have £4 for our student support!

This is such a wonderful opportunity, please give generously and see if we can raise £250,000 to double to £500,000 and then double again to £1,000,000 at school level.

By helping this cause you will be supporting talented and committed students for a transformational opportunity. Please support their ambitions by donating - regardless of how big or small. You may not be able to change the world, but you can change the world for someone. These are real and monumental opportunities.

Update: We have hit £6000!! Thank you to everyone for donating and sharing this fundraiser, we are all very grateful here at Quadstar. Every share and donation makes a big difference to the lives of students we support. Without this help they would not be able to follow their desired careers and educational opportunities.

We want to raise more funds so we can support more pupils. We have negotiated each place at the schools on a match-funding basis so we already get a place for half the cost. The cost to Quadstar for each 2 year placement is £35,000. Our target is to raise £70,000 to secure 2 more places for next year. This is such a worthwhile cause, please help support however small. You may not be able to change the world but you can change it for someone.
