Hillingdon Hospitals Charity is the registered charity based within Hillingdon Hospital but also supporting patients and staff at Mount Vernon.

The Covid-19 pandemic is placing unprecedented pressure on all NHS services, not just those dealing directly with the virus. We are working hard with the Trust to ensure that we provide the best care we can for our patients and their loved ones while also looking after our staff in very trying times.

During the first wave, we were inundated with drawings and paintings from children all over the borough who filled our walls with rainbows and messages of support and that meant so much to us. Here is your chance to send us your messages again which we will pass on to our staff to encourage them through this 2nd wave, which as you will have seen on news is far worse than the first.

Here is also an opportunity to give a small donation to our general staff welfare fund which will be used to support staff physically and emotionally through this time and beyond. Here also are just some of the messages of support we have already received through people contacting us to ask how they can help at this time: Unlike during the First Wave and for your safety we are not encouraging visits to the hospitals to donate food. Instead you can either support us this way or we have set up an Amazon Wish List of items we need to make up 'Bags of Love' from the local community we can give to staff as they come off long and emotionally taxing shifts (click here to view the Wish List http://amzn.to/36lGTtt).
