Story

Update:

Together we did it! Thank you to everyone who supported. What a fantastic way to honour Bill’s legacy.

Jeff Stelling

Bill Turnbull was a legendary broadcaster and most importantly a superb human being. But his life was cruelly cut short by prostate cancer.

It's why I'll be marching again this September from Wembley Stadium to Adams Park, the home of Wycombe Wanderers, where the late Bill Turnbull would spend his Saturday afternoons watching (and commentating on) his favourite team.

I'll be joined by hundreds of supporters including a team from our sponsors, GenesisCare on Sunday 17 September for a 26.2 mile march from Wembley to Wycombe.

Bill's support for not just Prostate Cancer UK but for everyone affected by this awful disease, was incredible. Those people he touched with his story, and those lives he saved by going public, that's the legacy he leaves.

That's why I'm back for a 34th marathon for Prostate Cancer UK and I cant wait to get started. Sponsor me to help fund lifesaving research to get men diagnosed earlier.
