What a wonderful collaboration with our lovely school running a joint summer challenge. *** Just Do I.T. - We Did I.T.! Update 10th September 2020 ***

Dear Parents and Carers

Thank you so much everyone! Because of the hard work, dedication and generosity of parents, carers, children, staff, friends, relatives and our local community we have managed to reach and exceed our fundraising target of £16,000!

As you all know, the money will be used to expand our fleet of Chromebooks to help all our children get online when they need to. We will keep you updated with the process of procuring these.

We wanted to share a couple more of the wonderful efforts by some of our children and supporters:

Elias in Year 2 and Adelaide who has just started in Reception cycled to 5 different parks in Hackney to do 5 different exercises! Watch their adventures here below.

Our team of Year 2 cyclists (now in Year 3!) set out to cycle 500 miles... in the end they did over 670! Watch them do it here blow.

A big well done as well to our Year 3 team (now Year 4!) who did a combined challenge of running, walking and cycling.

And to Amari in Year 6 who also walked, jogged, scootered and cycled his way to 5K!

*** Just Do I.T. - nearly there! Update 3rd September 2020 ***

Dear Parents, Carers and Children

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and support over the summer. We have been blown away by the generosity shown in our summer fundraising campaign together with the Jubilee School PTA to buy more Chromebooks for the school. You have now helped us raise over £14,000, nearly 90% of our target. Please help us with one last push over the next week. If you have donated already, please give what you can at Just Giving here. Is there anyone you know who isnt aware of our fundraising campaign? Tell them now!

Last week, Amie cycled to Brighton! She was away when the other teachers went but was determined to do it herself anyway! She how she got on here below.

Hello again everyone - we are getting closer to our fundraising target and are now 80% of the way there. As ever, please continue to share widely and donate what you can if you haven't already.

This week, we want to share with you the amazing achievements of Nessan and Lizzie. Both of them have been running over the whole summer break, through the heat and the storms, to complete a 5K every day! Lizzie has been doing even longer runs and is now trying to run the equivalent of London to Paris- 344km!

Josh has completed his first ever 5K - watch what he did here below.

Also some more well dones this week - Riley in Year 3 has now completed his triathlon, which involved a 15km bike ride as well as rowing and running! He also did some climbing for good measure. Amazing effort and thank you for the fundraising efforts! Anas in Reception and Zak in Year 4 completed a scooter challenge through Istanbul. See below photos of both of these!

Sponsor our 5K challenge to raise money for IT equipment for the children this summer!

Children & Parents can also join in with our 5K challenge :-)

*** What will the funds be used for? ***

All money raised will go towards desperately needed IT development, to enrich IT provision in school and ensure that all pupils can access online learning when they need to.

*** What is the challenge? ***

Jubiless teachers & staff have set themselves a range of personal sporting challenges, including 'Couch to 5K' programmes, a 5K a day for 5 days, and a team of teachers are planning a bike riding odyssey to Brighton!

*** What do we need to do? ***

1. Please sponsor our amazing teachers: donate through JustGiving on this page. Then spread the word on social media!

2. Get your own family involved and get sponsored: a 5km run is clearly not for everyone, but you can set a challenge that is right for you. Our lovely Year 1 children are completing a 5km walk in school over several days before the end of term. Maybe you would like to try 5,000 of something else (skipping? hula hooping?)- Its up to you!

Yesterday a team of teachers: Alice, George, Rory, Dan, Lucin and Billy, took on their challenge to cycle from the school gates to Brighton seafront, a total of 86.1km! See how they got on here.
