WHO ARE WE?

Kent Music is a charity and the lead partner for the music education hub in Kent.

We deliver instrumental and vocal teaching, ensemble classes, courses, music labs, county orchestras and choirs for thousands of eager young musicians throughout the county!

WHY ARE WE RAISING MONEY?

During the pandemic, music education for children and young people suffered with schools and venues closing. This widened the gap between those who can afford music education and those who cant.

We want to narrow this gap by building up a fund that can help children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds or who may not be able to afford to access music education with us.

The bursary will be for young people up to 18 in full time education living in Kent to access Kent Music services.

For many, the opportunity to access music education will be a life changing experience whether it leads to a career in music or a lifetime of making and enjoying it.

Since Kent Music began in 1947, weve seen the impact which music can have to improve and change young peoples lives. We're excited about the future of music education in Kent but need your support to make sure everyone can access it.
