Story

Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) students feel "disheartened" and are dropping out of studying history at school because they do not feel represented in the curriculum, MPs have been told. the underachievement of specifics is not that well publicised and this sponsored walk aims to;

1. Raise an awareness of the specific groups who are underachieving in schools

2. Identify and recruit high calibre tutors for English, Maths and Science.

3. Put in targeted study support resources which will help young people in their day to day studies and ultimately enhance their overall educational attainment.

The cost of one hours quality tuition on average is £25, by raising £3000 we will be able to offer 120 hours of tuition.
