Organised by Knightswood Royal British Legion ScotlandAfter recent building surveys being carried out we require unexpected essential electrical, roofing & maintenance works to be done. Our Club is a lifeline within the Community, not only for Ex-service personnel, but for the wider Community use.
Knightswood RBLS is the LAST surviving Royal British Legion Scotland Club in Glasgow. The Club opened in 1973 and has served the Community ever since. Membership is not restricted to Ex-Service personnel but open to all in the local & wider community.
The Club is open 7 days a week and is a lifeline to many who may not leave their home otherwise. Every week there is many social activities including dances, bingo, snooker/pool and also host a Pipe Band practice twice a week.
Recent building surveys have identified essential electrical and roofing works needing urgently carried out. With Club resources focused on our service delivery to support our patrons in various activities we are urgently needing support to get these works funded to keep the Club open for future generations.
