With the efforts of many in Europe supporting with collections of clothing, food, hygiene products as well as toys and bedding, all of which has to be shipped/driven etc., to those displaced by the actions seen in recent days and weeks, the Lions Club of Budleigh Salterton, with links to Lions Clubs in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova through Lions Club International, have launched an appeal on their Just Giving page to ensure that funds donated are passed directly to clubs working on the ground in these countries. These clubs are then able to use these funds to the best effect for those impacted by the invasion of Ukraine, helping those impacted and displaced by recent Russian actions.
