About Barnardo's

Barnardo's is the UK's largest children's charity. They protect, support and nurture the UK's most vulnerable children. Last year, they helped over 380,000 children, young people, parents and carers via their 791 services across the UK.

Barnardo's help children through the trauma of sexual abuse and exploitation, provide support for young people in care, and give children caring for a loved one the help and support they deserve. And that's not all, their specialist workers support families through domestic abuse, mental health problems, prison sentences, asylum seeking and much more. They also amplify the voices of young people to influence Government on the issues that affect their lives making sure their voices are heard.

The scale of what they do may be big and complex, but their aim is simple - to provide the best outcome for every child, no matter who they are or what they have been through.

£50 could provide specialist support to help a child recover from the trauma of sexual abuse

£250 could pay for a young carer to go on a two-day residential break with care in place for their parent while they're away
