London Marathon 2021
Save the Family provides safe, supported accommodation for vulnerable homeless families. Our mission for the past 40 years has been to keep families together and help them create a positive future.
Story
We are absolutely thrilled that Lee Carrington chose to run the London Marathon for Save the Family this year.
Lee began running to support his eldest daughter as she had shown a keen interest in running in school and wanted to join a local running club. There are now 4 family members who run for Vale Royal Athletics Club. As a family man with 3 young daughters, Lee wanted to choose a local charity with the same values that he has.
Lee completed the London Marathon 2021 in a staggering 3hrs and 3mins. On behalf of all the families that are supported at Save the Family we would like to thank him.
