Organised by Little VillageHarry and Meghan's fans have raised £5000 - enough to buy all the Moses basket mattresses we'll need this year. Help us raise a further £4000, so we can support the 3000 kids we expect to see this year with the basic essentials they need to thrive.
After being nominated by Harry and Meghan as a charity to support in lieu of gifts we are now delighted to welcome Baby Sussex to the Little Village community. We build small, warm communities of families who support one another with dignity and love, when times are tough. Times are tough for a number of people at the moment but you can help by donating to the Little Village Baby Shower in honour of the newest member of our Royal Family. We aim to raise £9000 which could help support the 3000 children we expect to see coming to Little Village this year.
There are things that keep me up at night, one was how will I provide for this baby? Coming here has taken that worry away. They've given me everything the baby will need: a buggy, clothes, a cot, dummies, nappies, the lot. Carla
£5 could provide a pack of nappies and wipes for our baby bundles
£10 could provide a mum with the peace of mind that her baby will sleep safely by being given a new mattress for a Moses basket.
£40 will pay for a donated pram to be serviced so that its pristine and ready to be passed on to a family.
£50 could help us to train our volunteers to support the families we meet and support them to give their kids the best possible start in life.
£150 enables us to support a family to come to us to receive all the vital items they need for their child.
£1100 is the average worth of the items we gift to families having a new baby. But relieving them of the worry and anxiety of not being able to provide basic essentials is priceless.
