The Deveron & District Fundraising Group was formed in late 2017 and has since gone on to raise over £60,000 covering the tiny communities in the far north of Scotland. As a group, our main aims are to raise funds and awareness for the charity in our local community. We are always thinking of new ideas and challenges and we desperately need your support to help us through these difficult times. Fundraising has become increasingly difficult since March 2020, and this is of course at a time when our Marie Curie services are in the greatest demand. We need your help so that we can continue to help patients and their families needing Marie Curie nursing care and support, now more than ever.

What I love most about being part of this Marie Curie Fundraising Group is that we all have something in common with each other. We are very keen to make a real difference to those less fortunate. Can you imagine the heartache and stresses of caring for a family member with a terminal illness at any time during a pandemic , having Marie Curie nurse there is literally a Godsend. We definitely enjoy the buzz of fundraising and also offer each other support, comfort and long lasting friendships. It is so important to have a presence on all our communities and we all feel very proud to support Marie Curie and to have made such a difference is amazing.
