Kenny Lawrence, or "Mr Aces", has been involved in Hemel Aces for almost 15 years and is the driving force behind the Club.

During his time Kenny has helped hundreds of children, of all abilities, start to play football in a fun, friendly and safe environment.

Kenny's vision and passion has seen Hemel Aces grow from primarily a boys club, to one which now offers both a Girls section, with 4 teams, and an Inclusive section with 3 teams. This has brought the opportunity of playing football to more children in the local community.

As a volunteer, Kenny has given up countless hours of his own time to help move the club forward; From running numerous teams, setting up awards days, arranging the 50 year Anniversary, being a Committee member and until last year, Club Secretary.

He even grew his hair and then had it shaved off to raise funds for one of the Club Members who was having hospital treatment.

Sadly, Kenny suffered a stroke at the start of April. When Kenny is ready to return home we want to ensure he has everything needed to help in his recovery.

Now is the opportunity for all those who Kenny has helped over the years, to help by donating funds to this cause.
