Welcome to Masjid Umar in Nottingham, United Kingdom. “Masjid” is the Arabic term used to denote the Muslim place of worship. This Masjid is named after one of the four rightly guided caliphs of Islam “Umar” May Allah be pleased with him. The contents of this website are intended to present a true reflection of Islam in consistency with the last testament to mankind – the Qur’an and teachings of the final messenger of Allah (Arabic term for God) and the seal of the prophetic tradition; Mohammed, May the Peace and Blessings of almighty Allah Be Upon Him (PBUH).
