There's no doubt that March is one of our favourite times of year because of one very special event. Hospiscare is proud to announce that Men's Walk is back in 2022, our 40th anniversary year!

On 12 March 2022, hundreds of steptacular Men's Walk participants will be putting on their walking shoes and taking to the streets to complete an 8-mile sponsored walk, all to raise vital funds for Hospiscare. In previous years, our Hospiscare Heroes have battled wind, rain, snow. In 2021, they even planned their own routes in order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions. We think youll agree that Men's Walk is never without a challenge!

Hospiscare is currently facing a £1 million funding deficit due to the lasting effects of the pandemic. Unfortunately, if the shortfall continues, we will have no choice but to close a number of beds on our ward and reduce the weekend services we offer in patients homes.

As a local charity, we want to be there for patients and families living with terminal illness, when they need us most. We want to continue to provide our expert end-of-life care across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. We want to be there for those who are learning to live with grief.

But we can only do this with your help.
