Microsoft Ireland is delighted to donate €35,000 to the annual cycle fundraising initiative on behalf of all our employees.
Over the 30 Days of September, Microsoft Ireland will cycle virtually 30,000 km to raise 30,000 Euros for LauraLynn.
We are inspired by the work of LauraLynn, Ireland's only Children's Hospice and wanted to support them by raising money by participating at Microsoft's 30 for 30 for 30 Charity Cycle.
Therefore, Microsoft Ireland employees and family members will cycle virtually and on their own 30.000km+ to support this great cause.

LauraLynn is Ireland's only Children's Hospice and this year we are marking 10 years of providing palliative care and support for children with life limiting conditions and their families from all across Ireland.
LauraLynn provides symptom management, planned short breaks, emergency and end-of-life care, as well as family supports and bereavement care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Ireland. LauraLynns holistic approach to care ensures we support the whole family, enabling patients to be children and parents to have time to be Mum and Dad rather than full-time carers.
LauraLynn receives 1.5m in the form of core state funding which equates to approximately 30% of the hospices running costs however, LauraLynn primarily relies on public support to fund our hospice services. This year alone 5.5m must be generated through fundraised income to cover the operational costs of providing our specialized hospice and palliative care services to children with life-limiting conditions and their family units from across the country.
