We have created the Community Engagement Project to ensure everyone within the county can access our services. We need your support to help us reach across the county to provide our vital services!

In a survey we conducted in January 2021, many people said that as many of our services are based within Oxford City, they were unable to get to us. We've listened to this feedback and developed our five-year plan around ensuring our services reach across the county. Our plan is to have a Community Engagement Worker in each local district of Oxfordshire.

Each Community Engagement Worker will cover the following areas: providing information, advice, and guidance, demonstrating equipment and technology within local community areas, setting up and supporting local peer-to-peer support groups and befriending partnerships, and raising awareness of visual impairment issues locally.

Your support, however big or small will make a huge difference to the development and growth of our Community Engagement Project.
