Organised by New Mills Primary School PTA21 Bridges is designed to encourage families to explore our local area and we hope it encourages children to stay active through the dark days of January and February. We would love as many people to take part in the bridges challenge as possible.

Visit the charity's profileFollowing on from the success of our Trig Point Challenge in the summer of 2020, we have put together a new challenge for 2021. 21 Bridges is designed to encourage families to explore our local area and we hope it will encourage children to stay active through the dark days of January and February. The Bridges of New Mills link our town and tell us about the social and economic history of the area. The challenge is focused on 21 bridges for 2021and has 3 parts:
How many Bridges can you visit? There will be a question to answer at each bridge and an overall magic number to find! Medals and certificates will be awarded for the number of bridges visited.
We are asking children to send us their most interesting photo of one of the bridges (the photo must be taken by the child it can include family members in the shot).
We are asking children to make a model of their favourite bridge. This can be in any material, including cake.
