OK Music School was set up 10 years ago by The Otakar Kraus Music Trust to give children and young people with additional needs the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument and perform in public concerts. 76 pupils are currently attending OK Music School where they receive 1-1 specialised teaching with qualified music therapists and music teachers.
Pupils gain confidence and self-esteem and feel proud performing in our 2 annual concerts, which bring joy to the community. They gain communication and social interaction skills and make friends. 18 pupils have even passed a total of 35 music exams. Please help us to continue OK Music School and ensure more children and young people can benefit.
100% of pupils said OK Music School made them feel happy. 90% said it made them feel proud.
