The Oxford-León Association & Trust works to raise funds for projects in León, Oxford’s twin town in Nicaragua. Support is given to small community projects aimed at improving health, education and income generation.

Story

Life in Nicaragua was tough, but Hurricane Iota brought widespread destruction. The villages on the slopes of the Telica volcano that Nuevas Esperanzas supports had their clean water pipe broken, crops destroyed and roads damaged. People on the Caribbean coast had houses, crops and livelihoods destroyed, there is great need in both areas.
