Oasis provides vital support to vulnerable families & children in Elmbridge & the surrounding areas. We offer wide-ranging in-house services which help prevent families from falling into a crisis situation as well as improve their independence, resilience and overall emotional wellbeing.

Story

The Run

Hosted by Danes Hill School, we will be holding our first Sponsored Fun Run in aid of Oasis. With two courses to participate in - 2km or 5km, this is an event for all the family - young and old.

To celebrate the Coronation, come dressed up as Kings, Queens, or Rebels, or just as you are. Prizes will be given out to the best dressed as well as the top three runners.

Special Guests - Sir Mo Farah, CBE & Lady Tania Farah

Multiple Olympic, World and European Champion, Sir Mo Farah, CBE, and his wife, Tanya (and their children!) will be leading the warm-up, race and prize-giving.

About Oasis

The cost of living crisis continues. Financial hardship only adds to the existing pressures on families - many of which have escaped abusive situations or suffering with their mental health. Our Outreach team is working tirelessly with an increasing number of referrals to our organisation. The money we receive goes towards vital in-house services at Oasis be it Outreach, our Emotional Wellbeing Courses, our School Holiday Fresh Food and Toiletry banks as well as Fuel Bursaries. Help us to continue our work in the community and support vulnerable families get back to a place where they feel independent and safe, with their resilience and self-esteem stronger than ever.
