Story
Specialised tutoring for children, young people and adults with dyslexia can have a huge impact on their lives. Our self-employed approved tutors can help with reading and writing skills as well as helping people find learning and organisational strategies that really work for them.
As well as practical skills, tutoring can improve self-esteem and help people develop a real belief in their ability, things which many people with dyslexia lack.
Parents and learners have described how tutoring has changed their lives. See the tutor page of our website for feedback: https://dyslexiascotland.org.uk/need-tutor
Sadly, in these uncertain times, many people cannot afford to pay for a tutor so we're asking if you'd be 'One in a hundred' to help fund 100 hours of tutoring for children, young people and adults across Scotland.
Could you help change someone's life? Could you:
- Donate1 hour of tutoring for a child, young person or adult for £30?
- Donate a block of 5 hours of tutoring for £150?
- Make any donation you can to go towards tutoring?
