While theatres are dark let's fill up our timelines with performance and raise money for theatre charity Peer Productions which is dedicated to transforming young peoples lives through theatre.
If you enjoy my performance please donate £5 (or whatever you can afford) to Peer Productions - https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/PP-Monologue-Challenge
Here's how it works.
1) Pick a monologue to perform.
2) Take a self tape of you performing it.
3) Upload it to your timeline and nominate three friends to do the same.
I nominate x, x, x to upload one of their favourite monologues and post this message.
Our Story
Peer Productions vision is to use theatre to genuinely change young peoples lives.
Founded in 2006, Peer Productions is an award winning youth arts charity specialising in combining high quality arts practice with peer education. Each year we reach 15,000 young people across the South East of England, enabling them to change the way they think and to make positive life choices. Our work is made with, by and for young people and focuses on three interlinked strands of Identity, Crime Prevention and Health.
We have developed a unique approach whereby young people are at the centre of every stage of the creative process. We use peer education and theatre to empower three separate groups of beneficiaries: young peer educators, disadvantaged project participants and young audience members.
We have set up our monologue challenge in response to Covid 19. While theatres are dark we want fill our talented actors and friends timelines with performances and raise some money in the process.
