Story

Join Urban Homeworks at our annual Perpetuate the Hope fundraiser by starting a Community Builder Fundraiser today! Together we will celebrate community, learn how to create more equitable housing solutions, and share our abundance to help impact meaningful change in the Twin Cities!

In the past, we've had Table Hosts and Half Table Hosts bring groups of 5 or 10 people to hear about Urban Homeworks and the important work we're doing. We're excited to share that with our new event space at the historic Capri theater and a new event format, our Table Hosts are now called Community Builders!

Community Builders are crucial in helping Urban Homeworks introduce our important mission to new people in our community. We need your help to bring in new supporters who can help us house more people, build more wealth in historically divested communities, and transform our city to be an equitable place for all people. This is only possible together!

Think about the people in your community. Who can you invite that is:

- New to the UHW mission

- Inspired to give back to their community

- Values racial equity and transformational change

- Desires to learn more about housing equity

Your investment in becoming a Community Builder is a meaningful way to inspire your guests to give generously! We suggest kicking off your fundraiser with a meaningful gift to challenge your guests to match your generosity!

Anyone who donates to your online fundraiser is invited to attend the event on Thursday, September 8th.
