Thanks to some very kind offline suppporters and friends we have completed the neuter clinic and it is open for spays. October 2020.
A key focus of our work in Romania is to stop puppies and kittens being born unwanted, adding to the horrific stray population and a life of hell on the streets. Finding puppies screaming in pain from being attacked, skinny and starving, full of worms and disease, or hit deliberately by cars - all because un-neutered dogs are having puppies twice a year. It truly is the most sickening life for any pup or kitten being born into the streets. We are working with SC Spay Vet SRL to set up a new neuter clinic in Ortisoara, Romania where all the dogs and cats from the local town and villages can be brought to be neutered. We have to keep neutering, we have to stop unwanted births, and we truly need your help so that we can open the neuter clinic. Paws2Rescue have already neutered over 6,000 dogs and cats, we have campaigns that run in many areas of Romania. We have experience in setting up campaigns, and our passion to neuter drives us to achieve our goals.
Working with SC Spay Vet SRL, Dragos-Adrian Bacila from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Denisa Munteanu , we are opening and operating a new spay vet clinic.
The cost of spaying a female cat or dog will be EU25 and a male EU22.
Once the clinic is up and running, any charity or local group can use the facilities, along with our resident vet, to carry out their own neuter campaigns, raising money and promoting their own work in helping to neuter and spay.
