Literally hundreds of earthquakes have hot Albania. So far a growing number of deaths, 650 injured, up to 5% of the total population affected with thousands of homes destroyed, damaged and uninhabitable. It's really heart warming to see how the Albanian people help each other, how the government reacts and help is arriving from all around the surrounding countries.

But after the first wave of support, there will be another 'after shock'. People will be left out of the emergency program, many will need support to replace furniture, jobs are lost because the factory, shops and restaurants no longer exist.

Prison Fellowship Albania runs supportive programs for many years for hundreds of the poorest, most vulnerable families. We do that including many local partners all over Albania. Many of the present victims live in the epicentra of the earthquakes. With your help, we can help them get on their feet again.
