The Pulford Lower School PTA usually host a variety of well-attended events and fundraisers throughout the school year. Unfortunately, in 2020, the impact of the pandemic has significantly hindered our ability to raise funds for the school. Some of the events we have had to cancel are our annual football festival, movie nights, quizzes, discos, bag 2 school collections, and more.

Your help, encouragement, support and contributions are what make our fundraising events such great successes, raising funds for incredible opportunities for our children such as;

- Educational visits  

- Play equipment

- Outdoor staging area

- Classroom resources

- Renovating our outside spaces

- Forest School

- Books

- Seasonal events, e.g., Easter Egg Hunt

Our main fundraising aim for 2020 has been to contribute towards the cost of a new school bus. The provision of a school bus creates many enhanced learning opportunities and experiences for the children of the school.

The staff, parents and friends of the school have always been fantastic in supporting our efforts, and for that, we cannot thank you enough. But in light of current circumstances, we would be very grateful for any further support that you can give at this time, in the form of monetary donations.

Perhaps you would consider donating the price of a dinner you have missed, or an event that has been refunded due to lockdown?

We did consider asking you to support your child in a sponsored challenge or to engage in online auctions / sales, but given the stresses & pressures on families at the moment, we felt a simple donation request may be more convenient for all!

Please do invite friends, grandparents and extended family who may want to get involved and contribute too.
