Raise a Smile is Raise's annual Christmas campaign to collect enough gifts that we can give a present to every single patient who has to be in one of our hospitals on Christmas Day. Young or old, ill or injured, regardless of background, we want to spread a little Christmas cheer to everyone. Its never really fun being in hospital, so at Christmas please help us to Raise a Smile by helping us reach our target of at least 600 presents (which is nearly a sleighful!).

To make this happen we rely on local businesses and you - the local community in Watford, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans - so please help if you can.

We have a great team of volunteer Christmas Elves who give time to sorting, wrapping, labelling and delivering your gifts to the wards. Every present is individually carefully wrapped and labelled, and gifts are chosen for age, sex, appropriateness and with our patients different cultures in mind. But it starts with you making a donation that we can use to buy a present.

Its so easy to do and it makes a real, direct and positive difference to patients.
