Story

UPDATE for SUPPORTERS: thanks for supporting Andrew Davis, Sheila and Bill Tallon who took on the famous RideLondon 100-mile challenge on Sunday May 29, starting and finishing in central London. Andrew crossed the finishing line in 5 hrs 24 mins while Sheila and Bill also managed it in just 8 hrs, so congrats to them all!!! See our photo collage below. They were riding to raise vital funds for the RNC which has had a really challenging few years getting through the pandemic. The staff and young people have pulled together to avoid disruption to vital studies and to make sure their futures are not defined by what will, hopefully, turn out to be, a short lived but very difficult period for all concerned. Andrew Davis is an experienced cyclist from Bromyard who completed Lands End to John O'Groats (LEJOG) in 2020, again raising funds for the RNC. He has also volunteered with the RNC's tandem cycling club. Meanwhile, husband and wife team Bill and Sheila Tallon are both keen amateur cyclists and enjoy the challenge of training on the gruelling hills of the Costa Blanca and The Malverns. Sheila was Principal of the RNC from 2011-2015 so is a long-term supporter of the college and its students.
