The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileGinger kittens Gabriel and Arthur were rescued from a builders yard by an RSPCA Inspector. Born to a feral mother, an outbreak of cat flu in the litter means that Gabriel is totally blind and Arthur has sight in only one eye. Both are being cared for in the long term by one of the RSPCA Cat Hub's fantastic foster carers.
Despite having no eyes, Gabriel gets around very well and loves playing with toys and with his brother who helps him.
Gabriel needs an operation soon to surgically stitch his eyelids together, to prevent irritants such as cat litter getting into his eye sockets. This will cost £520.
Arthur is suffering from entropion in his one good eye, a condition in which his eyelid turns inward so that his eyelashes and skin rub against the eye surface, causing irritation and discomfort. He needs an operation to correct this when he is a bit bigger and stronger. This will cost £500.
We will ensure that the kittens get their operations as soon as our vets recommend, but we would be grateful for any help you can give us. Any money we raise above our target will help pay for Gabriel and Arthur's long term foster care. Thank you!
