The Cat Rehoming Hub is based near Darlington, County Durham, UK. Working with five local RSPCA branches the RSPCA Rehoming Hub re-homes cats across the Tees Valley, North Yorkshire, South Durham, Darlington, Hartlepool and Sunderland area.
The cat rehoming hub is a local cattery containing 20 pods. These pods provide a lifeline for many cats that have been rescued by our RSPCA Inspectors. They have often suffered cruelty, neglect, or left abandoned.
The basic costs for the cattery are funded by the five RSPCA branches, but we are urgently appealing for donations to provide additional enrichment for the cats, ongoing parasite control or products such as feliway to help settle them into cattery life, while they await adoption.
The rehoming hubs volunteer list is growing, but much needed funds are in very short supply. Any money donated through our just giving page goes directly back into buying products for our cats in our care and supporting the project. If you could spare something, no matter how small, you can be rest assured that a cat will benefit from your kind generosity.
