Radio Cavell have been providing a broadcasting service to the patients and staff in the Oldham Hospitals since 1952 . Today we provide 24/7 entertainment and information to all those in the Royal Oldham Hospital via Patientline Channel 5 and 1350am. Supporting the wellbeing of all our listeners with music, sport and local news has never been more important than now when so many people are having such a difficult time with the pandemic keeping families and love ones apart.

While our volunteers are doing all they can to continue the service and make sure loved ones are not forgotten while in Hospital, our fundraising has been badly hit with all of our 2020 fundraising events having to be cancelled. Unfortunately the bills and licence fees keep coming in and there is no relief available to our service from any national funding schemes. We are therefore asking those who can, to support us to donate to the charity through our Covid support fund.
