Story
Dear Friend,
I hope you are keeping well during these difficult and uncertain times.
The message of The Resurgence Trust on the importance of respect and love for Nature, Earth and Planet is now more important than ever. Living in a harmonious dialogue with Nature is the urgent imperative of our time and the very first lesson we learnt at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. This message of living in harmony has been at the heart of Resurgence for over 50 years.
Over the last year, The Resurgence Trust has faced many trials. The Resurgence office went virtual and our editorial team are all still working from home to produce Resurgence & Ecologist magazine. We had to close the Resurgence Centre in Hartland and cancel the Summer Camp two years in a row. We are only now beginning to re-open The Resurgence Centre for live events with a small number of participants.
The Resurgence Trust is a membership-based organisation and membership fees enables us to publish Resurgence & Ecologist magazine six times a year, run The Ecologist website, run the Resurgence Centre, as well as organising events including the monthly Resurgence Talks and Festival of Wellbeing.
Unfortunately, income from the membership does not cover the costs of all these activities. As such, the charity is always seeking to raise funds from individuals as well as Trusts and Foundations to sustain this work.
The last 18 months have been very challenging for the Resurgence Trust due to the ongoing Covid crisis and because of this we would be grateful for your support.
The message of The Resurgence Trust on the importance of peace and love for Nature, Earth and Planet is imperative. We hope you will be able to donate, whatever amount you feel able, so that we can continue with our vital work. We very much appreciate any financial support you can offer.
Thank you in advance for your faith and support in the work of the Resurgence Trust. With it, we will continue doing all we can for our precious Planet.
I pray that you will stay well and that we will all emerge from this difficult time with resilience, patience, solidarity and equanimity.
Much love
Satish Kumar
