At RideWise we work with a range of people including, children, families, jobseekers, those with disabilities, those that may be visually impaired and many others.
We run projects such as Learn 2 Cycle, Community Cycle Centres, Build a Bike, Dr Bike , Cycling for All, Bikeability within Nottingham schools and many others. We help our community by teaching people how to ride a bike, how to safely cycle on the roads, provide training and a bike to help people get to job interviews, teach people new skills of how to rebuild a bike and enable families to spend time together getting out and active. We have taught over 20,000 in Nottinghamshire how to ride a bike!
We aim to help people to be able to cycle around Nottingham safely and confidently and we want to educate and enable people to make greener transport choices to help our environment.
All of our services are fully funded, but our funding isn't always guaranteed so we want to raise money to enable us to keep our Community Cycle Centres open to those that need it, as well as carrying on with our other community projects.
